It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is here, and summer is just about behind us. We enjoyed getting together with friends over the weekend and spending time outside before the rain hit.
We’ve got some good comfort food meals planned for this week. My daughter has been asking for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that’s on the menu for tonight. I’ll use the big pile of tomatoes from my farm share to make the soup. And it may be a little early, but I’m ready for pumpkin French toast later in the week.
I’m trying a couple new recipes on Friday. The lemon pepper cod and spicy sesame noodles have been on my Recipes to Try Pinterest board. I love turning to that board for inspiration when I need new ideas for dinnertime.
