Dry Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 15 ounce can pumpkin puree

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger. Transfer the mixture to a pint-sized mason jar.
  • Put together an instruction card with these directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan. In a large bowl, stir together 2 eggs, 1/3 cup melted butter, 2/3 cup pure maple syrup, and the 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree. Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and stir to combine. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, until the loaf is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
