I love steel cut oats, which are less processed than instant oats. I enjoyed the apple & cinnamon version for breakfast before we went to Muir Woods. It kept me full and energized well into the morning.

Pacific Foods Steel Cut Oatmeal is a certified organic product that comes in 5 different flavors, ranging from unsweetened and lightly sweetened to maple & brown sugar or apple & cinnamon. The flax & chia power flavor has a little extra protein and fiber. They all taste great, and they can be topped with fruit, nuts, and seeds for a hearty meal. I love the texture of this oatmeal. It reminds me of rice pudding, so it feels like a real treat for breakfast.
