This is one of those weeks when I don’t have it in me to get experimental. Our afternoon and evening schedules are busy, so I’m sticking to things I’ve made before that everyone will like.
I have some extra red cabbage in the fridge from another recipe, so I’m making the purple slaw recipe from ChopChop. I love it when I Google a recipe idea, and the top result is a website or magazine I know and love. ChopChop never disappoints.
Our main dishes are the basics this week: chicken, salmon, burgers, taco night, and pasta. I bought a couple freezer ingredients at Trader Joe’s (meatballs, fish sticks, spanakopita), and I may need to use one of them as a “plan B” this week. I’ll be driving around a lot at dinnertime, so I reserve the right to ditch the meal plan if the timing gets too crazy. I can always pull one of these dishes out of the freezer and serve it with some veggies from the farm share.

Thursday: Sheet Pan Chicken Curry
