Chipotle Lime Chickpeas Recipe
These chipotle lime chickpeas are a healthy, addictive snack.
Cost $.20 per serving
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1 1/2 tsp chipotles in adobo sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbs lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt or more to taste
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl, stir together the chipotles in adobo sauce, honey, and lime juice.
Place the cooked chickpeas in a large roasting pan or on a cookie sheet that has sides. Pour the chipotle mixture over the chickpeas and stir to coat. Sprinkle with the salt.
Cook them for 35-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Toward the end, taste one every few minutes to see if they’re crispy yet.
Cool the chickpeas before eating.
