Scrub the potatoes and chop them into 3/4 inch cubes.
Stir the potatoes and avocado oil in a large bowl. In a small bowl, stir together the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add the seasonings to the potatoes and stir to coat evenly.
Cook in an air fryer basket at 450 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes. (The longer cook time is needed if you’re using a rotating basket.) Check the potatoes after 15 minutes, and cook for an additional five minutes if they’re not yet tender. Keep checking them every few minutes after that. They’re done when they’re nicely browned and crispy on the outside, and tender in the middle.
