Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple (4 lbs, about 5 1/2 cups chopped)
  • 2 medium oranges (chopped, 3 cups)
  • 3 medium apples (cored and chopped, 4 1/2 cups)
  • 1 lb strawberries (chopped, 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions

  • Chop all the fruit into bite-sized pieces. Place the fruit in a large bowl.
  • Add the orange juice, and stir to coat the fruit.
  • Store the fruit salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Serve cold, or bring to room temperature before serving. (Note: This fruit salad looks best on the day it’s made. It gets a bit soggier with each passing day, but it should be fine to eat for up to 4 days if refrigerated.)
