Vanilla Waffles
These whole grain vanilla waffles are a delicious recipe for a special breakfast. You can make some extras and stash them in the freezer for later.

- 2 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tbs vanilla extract
In a small bowl, stir together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt).
In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients (eggs, milk, butter, vanilla). Add the dry ingredients and stir to just combine.
Scoop a ladle full of batter onto a hot waffle iron and cook until light brown. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve warm.
