This blueberry banana smoothie is a healthy, delicious drink full of protein, calcium, and fruit. It's great for breakfast or a snack.

This blueberry banana smoothie is such a refreshing drink. It’s a quick snack to make after school, and it can also stand in for breakfast if you’re in a hurry.

Many parts of the country are celebrating blueberry season now, so it’s a good idea to have several recipes that highlight this high-antioxidant fruit. A smoothie is one of the simplest recipes to prepare, so this is great to make when you only have a few minutes.

I also recommend my blueberry banana oat bars, blueberry pancake sauce, and blueberry pie bars to enjoy this time of year. There are so many different recipes that highlight this delicious berry.

    Annemarie,
I got such a good deal on blueberries last year I still have a bunch in the freezer (and some dates, too)–I’m glad of a fresh new smoothie recipe to try them in. Thanks!
