This cottage cheese smoothie bowl is packed with lots of protein and fruity goodness. It’s a hearty snack that will help fuel your day.

These cottage cheese smoothie bowls are topped with fruit, nuts, and coconut.

Hearty snacks are an essential part of my day.

I have a crazy metabolism that burns through food more quickly than I’d like, so I’m always trying to come up with new snack ideas. And the one thing that makes the best snacks is protein.

These delicious, fruity smoothie bowls are full of protein because of the cottage cheese. The nuts on top of each bowl add even more protein, and the collection of fruits in this recipe makes it a great healthy snack.

This smoothie bowl has a secret ingredient that makes it extra thick and healthy!

The protein in the cottage cheese isn’t the only thing that makes it ideal for a smoothie bowl. The mixture needs to be extra thick to allow the additional toppings to sit nicely on top of the smoothie. The natural thickness of cottage cheese gives this recipe the structure it needs to keep the toppings from falling to the bottom of the bowl.

I like to top this smoothie with whatever fruit and nuts I have on hand. Shredded coconut makes a delicious addition, too.
