Smoothie bowls are the answer.
I actually have a little problem with smoothies. I can’t drink them on their own without some food. My stomach seems to need something solid to work on, and a smoothie by itself can be unsettling.
Enter the smoothie bowl. By making a thicker smoothie and putting it in a bowl, I can top it with some hearty ingredients to make it into a meal. A high-powered blender is a great tool to get just the right texture.
Any kind of smoothie can be turned into a bowl. I love this green smoothie bowl topped with berries, coconut, and walnuts. The avocado, walnuts, and coconut milk provide filling fats, and the other ingredients are packed with nutrients.

This green smoothie bowl is a delicious way to jump start your morning or tide you over until dinner. Play with the ingredients to come up with a combo you love.
