Smoothies are a healthier drink option that can fill you up with lots of nutrients all at once. This nutty banana smoothie includes loads of beneficial ingredients, and it tastes delicious.
It’s high in protein, calcium, probiotics, omega-3 fatty acids, and potassium. Adding nuts to a smoothie is a great way to sneak them into your children’s diet if they don’t like to eat them whole. Just be sure to tell them about the walnuts after they drink this smoothie. It’s good for children to learn that in the right context, they may actually like some foods that they don’t think they like.
