This berry banana smoothie is a delicious, healthy drink full of nutrients. The sweet flavors make this the perfect vegan snack recipe.
Smoothies are a great tool for getting some quick nutrition into your body. When you don’t have time to sit down with a salad, smoothies are a convenient alternative.
I like to sweeten smoothies with bananas, so there’s no need for any added sugar to make them tasty.
This berry banana smoothie can be made with any kind of berries. I use fresh berries when they’re on sale in the summer, and in the winter I keep my freezer stocked with frozen blueberries and raspberries.
I typically add some spinach or other greens to these drinks. With all the flavor from the berries and banana, you can’t taste the spinach at all. Kids who don’t like to eat veggies can be convinced with a delicious, pretty drink like this one.

Ooooh, how sneaky!! 🙂
Love the idea of throwing in the leaves!
Thanks! You really can’t taste them or see them at all.
I should make some of these for summertime kid’s lunches at home. I havent made a smoothie in a long time. Good reminder.
They taste like a treat. Little will your children know how healthy they are!
Nice way to add some greens, and I’m sure nobody will notice! 🙂
I can be sneaky!
Yum! I love the idea of smoothie popsicles. I’ll have to do those this summer for sure!
They are a fun treat on a hot day!
Great idea for lunches! I think my younger ones would like them as popsicles.
They are great for popsicles too because they push up from the bottom and you don’t need to worry about drips.
🙂 The amount of time I spend wiping up popsicle drips in the summer is amazing!
