That’s where the Instant Pot comes in. By pressure cooking the chili for just 10 minutes, it gets that classic richness without a long stovetop simmer. This recipe can be on the table in less than 30 minutes from the time you start sauteing the onion.

Instant Pot Beef Chili
This 10 minute Instant Pot beef chili is such an easy, healthy dinner recipe. ($1.55 per serving)
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 ribs celery sliced
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 28 oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 4 oz diced chili peppers
- 2/3 cup corn
- 6 cups cooked pinto beans
- 2 tbs chili powder
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 2 tsp cumin
Set the Instant Pot to Saute. Add the olive oil and meat to the pot and saute until the meat is brown. Add the onion, celery, and garlic, and cook for two minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients to the pot. Place the top on the pot and turn the vent to Sealing. Set to Manual for 10 minutes. When it’s done cooking, let the pressure release naturally for about 10 minutes before opening the lid.
Serve warm. Some topping ideas include scallions, crushed tortilla chips, guacamole, cheese, and cilantro.
