Some days, it’s just so hard to get my quota of fruits and veggies. I’m running around from one thing to the next, and produce is sometimes the last thing on my mind.

On days like this, I need a super quick, no-need-to-think-about-ingredients way to get my produce. That’s where these freezer smoothie packs come in.

I put together baggies of smoothie ingredients for the freezer so I can just grab one when I want a smoothie. I like the combination of banana, mango, and berries, and I add some walnuts for a little protein. You could also include a few mild greens like kale or spinach to the baggies.

When it’s time to make the smoothie, simply add a cup (or a cup and a half) of liquid and mix the ingredients in a blender. I like to use coconut milk, orange juice, or water. Each baggie yields 2 one-cup smoothies.
