This Cuties yogurt parfait is an easy, healthy snack that kids can make themselves. Cuties are a delicious sweet alternative to candy.
We all get cravings for sweets at some point during the day.
Don’t we? Or is that just me? It’s usually in the afternoon for me, right about when my kids come home from school. This is why I always try to have lots of fresh fruit on hand.
Whenever they make it to our market, I love to see those little mandarins from Cuties in the produce aisle. Cuties are such a sweet treat, they’re just as satisfying as candy. Since this is one of my favorite kinds of fruit to have in my produce drawer, I’m happy to partner with Cuties to share how my family enjoys their mandarins for healthy snacking.
When my daughter heads to her room to do homework, I love to see her go up the stairs with a Cutie in her hand. The vitamin C and fiber in this fresh fruit is just the thing to keep her going at this point in the day.
And with my son’s sports schedule, we’re always looking for healthy snacks to get him through games and practices. Cuties are the perfect choice because they’re so compact and easy to peel.
Sometimes we use Cuties to build an even more filling snack when the kids are especially hungry. This sweet mandarin yogurt parfait is a healthy homemade treat that includes extra calcium and protein from the yogurt. The flavor of the Cuties is so delicious and sweet, very little additional sweetener is needed.
Kids can make this Cuties yogurt parfait recipe all by themselves when they’re looking for something yummy to get them through the afternoon.
